Pensive Bubble Sheets is the Canvas-integrated tool for creating and grading in-class bubble-sheet exams in The College. You will need access to a printer/scanner to use Pensive Bubble Sheets.
Instructors create exams in Canvas using the Pensive integration, print the Pensive bubble sheets for students to complete in class, then scan and upload the completed sheets so Pensive can score the submissions and pass grades back to Canvas.
Why this changed: Pensive Bubble Sheets replaced Scantron in Fall 2026 after the centralized UOEEE Scantron scanning service ended in Spring 2026.
Instructors can use Pensive Bubble Sheets through Canvas to manage bubble-sheet exams without relying on the former Scantron scanning process.

Important: Pensive Bubble Sheets use in The College is limited to faculty who formerly used Scantrons and is restricted to Bubble Sheets only. The College Pensive Bubble Sheets agreement does not include other Pensive features, such as AI grading of hand-written assessments.
